ACUFAST PROMOTES LACEY SCHUMACHER TO ACCOUNT MANAGER

AcuFast is pleased to announce the promotion of Lacey Schumacher to the position of Account Manager. In her new role, Lacey will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing customer relationships, driving sales, and providing exceptional support to clients. She is located in central Illinois and will support clients in the surrounding area.
Lacey brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her new position. She holds an associate degree from Lake Land College and a degree in Agricultural Business from Iowa State University. During her academic years, Lacey showcased her passion for the industry by participating in the livestock judging teams at both institutions.
Prior to joining AcuFast, Lacey gained experience in manufacturing where she obtained valuable insight into post-live production processes. She then transitioned to Acuity, where she excelled as a Genetic Supervisor at the genetic nucleus. In this role, she made critical production and mating decisions, led gilt selection, and conducted research. Lacey further honed her skills during her tenure as a Genetic Manager Trainee, working across various divisions of the company, including the boar stud, Commercial Test Herd, and Performance Test Centers. She actively contributed to projects aimed at improving production efficiency while shadowing the sales team.
As an Account Manager at AcuFast, Lacey is eager to help customers achieve their goals and find success within their operations. Her dedication to learning and her passion for the industry make her a valuable addition to the team. Outside of work, Lacey enjoys spending time with her husband, exploring the outdoors with her dog Harper, attending workout classes, and participating in livestock shows and events.
