ACUFAST HIRES DR. NEAL BENJAMIN AS SR. MANAGER OF HEALTH ASSURANCE

AcuFast is excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Neal Benjamin as Sr. Manager of Health Assurance. Dr. Benjamin will play a key role in enhancing our global health platform, ensuring the highest standards of biosecurity and health assurance across our supply chain. His responsibilities will include developing and enforcing biosecurity protocols, coordinating with teams and veterinarians to optimize the supply chain and gene flows, and responding to health challenges.

Dr. Benjamin brings a wealth of experience and a diverse background to AcuFast. Growing up on a small corn and soybean farm in central Illinois, he developed a strong foundation in agriculture. He earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Illinois in 2011, followed by a DVM in 2016.

Dr. Benjamin has practical experience as a veterinarian, ranging from a small family production company to a large swine veterinary consulting company. He too has spent time studying and working across the globe. Recently, he returned to the University of Illinois to pursue a PhD focusing on the genetics of health outcomes in farm animals.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Benjamin enjoys spending time on the family farm, growing a large garden and orchard, and raising livestock.
